For you

English: the most widely spoken language in the world and in fact the second language of the Netherlands. Speaking and writing English well is therefore more important than ever. We will help you communicate in English more effectively: at work, for your studies, in professional emails, etc.  We will also help you better understand English-speaking culture, literature and customs. A whole new world will open up for you. 

Who for?  

This course is aimed at people who have a reasonable command of English and who would like to expand their vocabulary, improve their fluency and build up confidence. 

The course  

In this course the emphasis is on speaking and learning words, but you also learn grammar rules to communicate correctly. We mainly pay attention to everyday topics and situations: work and hobbies, holidays and travel, etc. Naturally, we also talk about the culture and customs of the English-speaking world. There is also plenty of room for your own input. 

The lessons  

During the lessons you mainly practice with other students. You do this by talking to each other and completing assignments based on texts, audio and video fragments and games. The groups are small, so you can practice a lot and get a lot of attention from the teacher. The lessons are fun and thorough. 

Homework 

You´ll need around two hours per week for homework. 

Level 

To help you find the right course, we use the codes of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Het startniveau kun je op verschillende manieren bereikt hebben: na een cursus of door zelfstudie, werk, familie of verblijf in een Engelssprekend land.
